There have been studies about sleeping positions and these answers a completely different. To sum up the study: On your stomach- insecure, seeking acceptance; on your back- confident, secure with themselves; and on the side- wide range of characteristics with mediocre results.

I find the coding to be quite accurate for myself, my family and friends. What I find even further interesting though is that sometimes my sleeping posture changes around times when I am experiencing different things. I've also realized that my basic sleeping pattern 8 years ago when I was 14 is different to now.

I sleep on my stomach with arms wrapped around my pillow, and the description for People who sleep lying on their back with arms outstretched was really true about me rather than the one for people who sleep on their stomachs.
